The Outside Shot Chapter #1

In the begining of this book the author, Walter Dean Myers, explains who Lonnie Jackson is. He's a young african american from New York and gets a scholarship to play basketball. The college that wants him to play for them is in Cisne, Tennessee. So when he ends up moving he leaves his life behind along  with his mother. When he came upon the dorm area where he'd be living, which was called orly hall, he malso met his  three roommates. There names were Juice, Colin, and Sly. They were all there because of the scholarship to play ball. And as they began to speak to each other, they formed a bond. And when they all went to there first day of tryouts, there reactions were all stunning. They had never been in such an organization as they were. They also met the assistant coach who was more of an head caoch because he was mainly calling all the shots. They also pin-pointed out the highligh players who were desytined to show out. And then they finally realized who was a redshirt and who was a true rookie. My overall outlook of the book so far is amazing. I'm a little anxious to see what the second chapter has in store.
